Thanks for checking out my log. I hope you find something of interest. For this first item I'd like to encourage readers to visit the following web site: www.poclad.org. POCLAD stands for Program on Corporations Law and Democracy. It's not as dry as it sounds. The bright folks of POCLAD have studied the history of corporations and concluded that most if not all of our current political, social and economic problems stem from the fact that giant global or transnational corporations wield far too much power. Corporations were originally established by "we the people" to serve us. Over the last century this has been totally reversed. Now a few hundred giant corporations pretty much run the world. Visit the POCLAD web site and find out how this happened and what can be done to start regaining control of corporations by "we the people."
